General Notes

Super affordable Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. They're pretty well known for two things -- their pork liver (which is super delicious) and their wontons (which are also really good). We tried a variety of other dishes including their veggies and several of their noodle dishes, but nothing else really came close. Everything else kind of tasted ... the same, with more or less the same flavor. Next time if we were to come back we'd definitely just focus on the pork liver and wontons. They don't do delivery which is a shame, because the atmosphere of this restaurant is not the best: it's super loud, crowded, and you're sitting on the same table with other random parties.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ pigs feet noodles (dry) -- this was just ok, I'm not a big fan of the noodles.
  • ★★☆☆ beef brisket noodle with wonton -- the wonton was delicious, the rest of the dish was just ok
  • ★☆☆☆ bok choy with oyster sauce -- this was just ok, it was 油菜心. Everything kind of tasted like it was made with the same sauce, I didn't like this sauce in a vegetable context.
  • ★★★★ steamed pork liver -- this dish is so good, my first time having it. The pork liver is tender and bouncy, and super 香 with the oil, soy sauce mixture, and scallions.
