General Notes

A small Oaxacan cafe situated near the heart of Santa Monica, serving coffee, smoothies, and various dishes. A great find; definitely try their Oaxacan Mocha; it is SO GOOD. The service is lovely; the woman who was working the counter was so friendly.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★☆☆☆ Eliseo Scramble -- Sausage and egg are decent. Breakfast potatoes are underseasoned and lack textural contrast. The tortilla is unpleasantly hard (maybe because it's whole wheat)
  • ★★★★ Oaxacan Mocha -- The perfect drink when you can't decide whether to get hot chocolate or coffee. Pleasantly thick and rich chocolate flavor that works great with coffee. Mexican chocolate hits differently.
