We came here directly after getting dimsum at Bamboo Garden, mostly just to try their Portuguese egg tarts. I'm not entirely sure about how the process works since I wasn't the one ordering, but apparently they have a reservation system in which you have to call in advance for their egg tarts. You go at the reservation time, and there's a fresh batch of egg tarts, straight out of the oven, ready for you to eat. These really are something else when they're warm and fresh from the oven. The puff pastry itself was cooked pretty well, although I would have liked it to be slightly more flaky. The custard was delicious, although I would have liked it to be ever so slightly more set. I guess a couple more minutes in the oven would have made a perfect egg tart for me.
