General Notes
Solid Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Good, satisfying, and comforting food at a very reasonable price point. It probably tasted quite a bit better because I was really hungry that day.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Shanghai Style Rice Cake
- ★★☆☆ House Shrimp Fried Rice with XO sauce -- not particularly noteworthy, I'm not really sure what XO sauce is
- ★★★☆ Sauteed A Choy with Garlic -- cooked really well
- ★★★☆ House Special Soup Dumplings -- Solid wrapper, good amount of soup inside. The flavor is good but not particularly noteworthy.
- ★★★★ Scallion Pancake -- Some of the best scallion pancakes I've had -- super light and crispy on the outside, and not too thick.
- ★★★☆ Hand Pulled Chicken -- tender chicken, flavor is excellent.
- ★☆☆☆ Beef Tripe in Hot Pepper Sauce -- this was a little tough and not particularly well seasoned, would not necessarily recommend
