General Notes
An excellent place for a cheap, delicious, filling meal. Pretty legitimate Xi'an flavors. In addition to the place in Financial District, there are many locations all throughout New York. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Positives
> Very cheap, and very fast service. That being said, I did go there on a Sunday so it might be busier during other times.
> They also sell cheap drinks (tea) for $1-2
Negatives
> Noodles are served on disposable plates/bowls. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but the fact that the noodles are dripping in oil with the poor plates makes it very easy to spill.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★★ 孜然羊肉拉面 -- Super good. Nice thick, chewy noodles with the right amount of resistance (although because of the variance in thickness, some noodles are a bit overcooked). The flavor is amazing, with a little more vinegar than I'm normally used to. The only thing that could have made it better is if the pool of oil at the bottom were better integrated into the noodles.
