General Notes

An excellent seafood restaurant off of Market Street (though they also have another location on Fillmore just north of Japantown). Come here for their Tuesday special -- they sell oysters at $1.25 each. The rest of their menu is solid but not especially noteworthy, so I would definitely load up on their oysters. They do sometimes run out of oysters, so keep that in mind when you're ordering! This restaurant has an old-school New England seafood restaurant vibe; it's also quite small, so it'll be difficult for them to seat larger parties.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★★★☆ Cioppino -- mussels, clams, crab, cod, prawns, scallops, served with garlic bread. Delicious, the seafood is wonderfully cooked. The flavor was excellent, but I found the soup to be a little bit overly salty.
  • ★★☆☆ Clam Chowder (bread bowl) -- your average clam chowder; the bread was alright. There were quite a few large chunks of clam in there, which I liked
  • ★★★☆ Oysters -- solid oysters, not as much brine as I was expecting though. A few were a little gritty, but that's to be expected. At $1.25 each for their Tuesday special, this is some insane value.
