General Notes

Come here for the pastries, skip the food. This place has a good vibe and I haven't tried the coffee but I'd be down to come here for breakfast / coffee with pastries again. The food is pretty forgettable though and I wouldn't recommend that.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ baklava -- tried a few pieces of balkava. One was a milk-dipped with hazelnut and cocoa powder. The other was a pistachio dipped in milk. They were both delicious.
  • ★☆☆☆ mezzes -- eggplant yogurt (meh), pink lady (decent), acili ezme (pretty bad)
  • ★★★☆ sigara boregi -- crispy turkish filo rolls filled with feta cheese and parsley. This is pretty good
  • ★☆☆☆ greek / mediterranean salad -- the dressing doesn't adequately cling onto the components of the dish
  • ★★☆☆ lamb shank -- lamb is decent, doesn't have that much complexity in flavor. The bulgur wheat is interesting, I like it. The pickles are pretty bad, or at least not my taste
