General Notes
Thai brunch place that opened recently by the same people behind Khao Tiew. This place is incredible. Excellent vibes (spacious, bright, nice decor), delicious food, with a LOT of pretty unique dishes. Came here for the first time for brunch on a Sunday around 9:30 and didn't have to wait (the hype seems to have died down a little bit and it's not so packed anymore). Will definitely be coming back again to try some of their other dishes.
Dishes Tasted
- ★☆☆☆ thai shrimp toast -- a little soft and lacking textural contrast but the flavor is solid.
- ★★★☆ caribbean pasta -- spaghetti, spicy black squid ink thai pesto, squid, dry chilies, sour cream, topped with tobiko. Simple and delicious, not sure how this has anything to do with caribbean though.
- ★★★☆ duck duck -- duck breast, garlic fried rice, soft scramble, orange sauce. Duck is a touch overcooked and could use a slightly crispier skin, but overall delicious. Garlic fried rice is perfect -- just the right flavor and well balanced, the soft scramble is nice, would just love more
- ★★☆☆ still not a matcha -- pandan drink, it's meh
- ★★★☆ talay -- butterfly pea tea, coconut syrup, cream and espresso. This drink is delicious
