General Notes

A cute coffee shop in SoMa. They were originally in the southern tip, but they moved to a larger location in more central SoMa, and now have a decent amount of indoor seating space. Good vibes, okay drinks, terrible pastries. Located conveniently close to my current office, a good distance for a nice walking 1:1. Definitely on the pricier side. Definitely not a place I would go to on my own accord, but others seem to have better opinions of this place.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ Pandan Coconut Milk -- Pretty much just pandan syrup, water, and coconut milk. Unfortunately, the coconut milk was relatively coagulated, so it didn't make for the greatest consuming experience, at least until the coconut milk was thoroughly mixed in. The pandan flavor is mild, definitely needs a little more.
  • ☆☆☆☆ Chocolate Madeleine -- This pastry was so dry and REALLY not good. Chocolate madeleine as a concept is interesting but doesn't work well.
  • ★★★☆ London Fog -- Earl grey, vanilla, oat milk foam. Available in decaf form. According to the barista, it "tastes like a cloud", which is pretty accurate. Well-balanced and foam is well-done.
