Tasty Pot is a delightful restaurant chain serving up Taiwanese-style individual hot pot. I'm not entirely sure what constitutes "Taiwanese-style" hot pot. The flavor, execution, and ingredient quality definitely exceeds many other similar individual hot pot places I've been to in the past (e.g. Boiling Point). Light, delicious, and comforting -- great option. Would definitely return.

> There are a few specific items that I've never had before that I'm a huge fan of, like the pork blood rice cake.
> I ordered the lamb, and I was pleasantly surprised by how it actually wasn't overcooked! It was in fact quite tender. That was a pleasant surprise.
> The portion size is a pretty substantial, in relation to other restaurants I've been to.

• ★★☆☆ Sizzling Beef -- Pretty similar to the sizzling plates they have at Sizzling Lunch, but slightly better. It's a much more substantial portion of beef (which actually makes it quite a bit more difficult to cook), and the beef is quite good! Not quite as greasy as Sizzling Lunch. The flavor is good but not outstanding.

• ★★★☆ Taiwanese tempura -- essentially deep-fried fish cake -- never had this before but enjoyed it a lot!
• ★★★☆ Crispy Chicken Skin -- these are actually cracked -- so delicious. a little too salty for my taste, but overall incredible.
• ★★★☆ Lamb Hot Soup -- napa cabbage, lamb slices, vermicelli, enoki mushroom, imitation crab meat, meatball, fish cake, kamaboko, pork blood rice cake, fried tofu skin, clam, sour mustard, brown beech mushroom, tofu, cilantro, pork bone soup. This was delicious! I love how the soup has a certain pickled acidity to it, which makes it really refreshing. The other thing I love is that the lamb was actually not overcooked, unlike many other similar hot soup restaurants I've been to in the past.
