General Notes

Korean restaurant in Concord that opened recently. They offer a wide array of Korean classics, although I presume that they're most well-known for their soups, based on the name of the restaurant. The food was ... okay. Not really particularly noteworthy in any way. It's not bad but I probably wouldn't return.

Positives

> They have a pretty nice selection of banchan; there was one zucchini dish which was particularly noteworthy.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Beef Brisket Seolleongtang -- decent flavor, would have liked a bit more green onion, personally not a big fan of the brisket (it's sliced a bit too thin and dry as a result.
  • ★★☆☆ Soondubu -- your typical soondubu, nothing particularly noteworthy. Interestingly, this one came with a lot of miscellaneous vegetables inside.
  • ★☆☆☆ Bulgogi -- decent flavor, but the bulgogi was sliced way too thinly, and it didn't have the juiciness / tenderness that I was hoping for
