General Notes
Supita is an upscale Chinese / Asian bakery in Sawtelle. They have a variety of offerings, but I was pulled in by all the various egg tarts that they have. I'm glad I tried it because the portuguese egg tart was INCREDIBLE; it definitely gives all the other egg tarts that I've had in the past a run for their money.

Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Cookie Egg Tart -- Essentially a Hong Kong style egg tart, except with a cookie pastry. Delicious, but slightly disappointing. The custard is a touch too thick / jello-like for my taste. I'm also quite biased in that I strongly prefer the Portuguese egg tart pastry over your standard Hong Kong style egg tart.
- ★★★★ Portuguese Egg Tart -- This is definitely in competition for best portuguese egg tart that I've ever had. The pastry is flaky, buttery, and has the perfect texture. The filling was warm, perfectly flavored, and light. Honestly, the filling is quite different from a traditional Portuguese egg tart, the only thing that makes it Portuguese is the puff pastry, really. But it's absolutely incredible and a must try.
