General Notes

Sun and Moon is a Thai + ramen restaurant -- the sun and the moon represent Japan and Thailand respectively. In practice, most of the menu is Thai dishes, and the ramen doesn't add much to the menu. Based on my limited exposure, the Thai part of the menu is excellent. I love that beyond the dishes available at most Thai restaurants, they also have a section "Sun & Moon Street Food", which offers some more unique options. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience and would happily return again.

Positives

> There's a small "Sun & Moon Street Food" section, which offers many items that you might not commonly find at Thai restaurants.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Massaman Nuea -- Braised beef in homemade massaman coconut curry, with potatoes, burnt shallots, served with crispy roti. Some pieces of beef were dry and stringy, but the rest of the dish is absolutely amazing. Perfect consistency on the curry, amazing well-balanced flavors, and delightfully crisp roti. Even without the beef, just the roti and curry by itself is to die for.
