General Notes
Stonemill Matcha is a popular cafe-like restaurant, specializing in matcha drinks (obviously), and they also offer a variety of lighter Japanese fare. I personally can't really distinguish between good / bad matcha, so I can't really judge that. Otherwise, the food is pretty solid and the ambiance is lovely. Be warned: this place can get pretty popular (expect a wait during peak hours), and they do have a fairly strict time limit on how long you can stay.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Korroke Teishoku -- potato croquette, koshihikari rice, miso soup, and tsukemono. Nothing special, but each individual component was delightful and light; the tsukemono in particular was wonderful! Nice for a light brunch
- ★☆☆☆ Rose Matcha Latte -- rose, matcha, cane sugar, milk. the rose is a touch too strong, and otherwise the drink was a little bit bland. Not the most well-balanced drink
