Excellent restaurant in Tahoe City. Pretty unassuming place, the restaurant itself has a homey vibe. The food doesn't sound particularly impressive but every dish is cooked super well and the food is so delicious. The outdoor seating could be nice on a particularly warm day, but from what I can tell there aren't a whole lot of heaters, so I'd suggest going for an indoor table.

• ★★★★ roasted veggies -- with scallion herb oil. Roasted so well, the cauliflower especially is so delicious. And the scallion herb oil adds a nice touch.
• ★★☆☆ linguini and homemade beef meatballs -- with chunky roasted garlic tomatoes, parmesan, drizzle of scallion parsley oil
• ★★★★ king salmon -- The best salmon I've had in a long time -- perfectly crispy skin and so tender soft meat.
• ★★★☆ onion bisque -- "soup of the moment". Onion bisque topped with a toast with goat cheese. Surprisingly great combination
• ★★★★ calamari panzanella salad -- chilled sauteed calamari, toasted ciabatta chunks, cucumber, tomato, red onion, olive oil vinaigrette. This is delicious and refreshing
