General Notes

Many years ago, this place used to be one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years there have been several owner changes. The quality of food has slowly deteriorated and the cuisine has also gradually shifted over time.


Negatives

> The cuisine has gradually transformed from Sichuan to more random southern food, with even dimsum options. Several owner changes late, the food is pretty mediocre.

  • ★★☆☆ 酸辣土豆丝 -- A tad bit too oily
  • ★★★☆ 手撕包菜
  • ★★★☆ 葱爆羊肉
  • ★★☆☆ 清蒸龙利 -- Decent but too much of a fried-oil taste, which doesn't meld well with the otherwise mellow flavor and tender fish.
  • ★★★☆ 重庆辣子鸡
  • ★☆☆☆ 豆瓣鱼片 -- Used to be much better, but is now too watery, not thick enough, and not sweet enough.
