General Notes
Galbijjim restaurant; the most natural comparison was Daeho. They're pretty different dishes, but at the end of the day I'd prefer Daeho 99 out of 100 times. I'm not a big fan of how it's a lot more watery. Otherwise, they do share a lot of commonalities and the dish is still quite good (very tender beef)
Negatives
> Pretty busy, there's often a long line that stretches around a tent outside.
Dishes Tasted
- ★☆☆☆ Rice Balls -- It's alright; I'm not really a big fan of this flavor combination. But this mixed rice combination seems very common in Korea (I had it for lunch the same day at the KBBQ place too)
- ☆☆☆☆ Steamed Egg -- One of the worst steamed egg dishes I've had; pretty watery, overcooked, and has little body.
- ★★☆☆ Galbijjim -- Decent, pretty different from Daeho. It's more soupy and has smaller pieces of beef. It's also more oriented towards other ingredients, notably a lot of glass noodles. I do prefer the one cooked with cream (get it on the spicier side), it's something relatively unique and adds a nice touch to the dish.
