General Notes

Based on the review history, Sistory Thai Kitchen seems like a pretty new restaurant. It has received raving reviews online, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the hype. I came here for brunch on a Sunday. The vibes of the restaurant are lovely (the interior is really cute) and I like the idea of gently incorporating Thai flavors into brunch classics. Unfortunately, the food looks better than it tastes. Not bad, per se, but leaves something to be desired.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ Sister Benedict -- poached eggs, crispy chicken thigh, tomatoes, red and green onions, hollandaise, potatoes, and toast. The eggs are decent and the hollandaise has a subtle yellow curry flavor, which is nice. The toast has a weird texture and the chicken thigh is quite "crusty" instead of "crispy" -- a bit dry and doesn't have the savory flavor of fried chicken.
