General Notes
First time having Korean hot dogs, and they are delightful. They're structured similarly to a corn dog, but they're much better. Flavorful, and the textural contrast from the crispy crust is great. Seoul hotdog offers well-executed Korean hotdogs at a very reasonable price point. Conveniently located at the north end of Berkeley campus too. Great place for lunch or a hearty snack.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Rice Cake -- I love the textural contrast, and this one goes really well with their sugar. But the flavor falls flat somewhat; I wish there were something to contrast the starchy and relatively bland flavors.
- ★★★☆ Potato -- Seoul (premium beef) w/ potato crust. Lovely texture; the crust literally contains little pieces of perfectly deep-fried potato cubes.
- ★★★☆ Squid Ink -- Mozzarella, sausage w/ squid ink batter. Can't really taste the squid ink very much, but mozarella and sausage themselves are delightful.
