Sakana Sushi is a VERY inexpensive AYCE sushi restaurant, offering a $30 AYCE option. All things considered, it's decent value but you definitely get what you pay for. The sushi is okay, and the kitchen items are not great. You're definitely paying moreso for the experience and the volume of sushi; it's a good option if you're just craving sushi but I'd generally pick somewhere else to go.
> All things considered, they offer a surprisingly large number of more expensive cuts of seafood given the price, like amaebi and uni. The quality of these more expensive cuts is definitely a bit hit or miss, though.
> The ratio of fish to rice in the nigiri is wildly out of proportion. There's way too much fish and not enough rice, it's almost comical. This is probably the only place I've been to where this has been an issue.
> The wait time / line can be very long. I came here during peak hours (7pm on a Saturday) and it took me over an hour to get seated for a party of 1.
