General Notes

A classic seafood shack right by Fisherman's Wharf. This seems to be one of the more popular restaurants in the area (even as of September 2020), with much longer lines than the others. For good reason: their crab sandwich (my go-to order for places like this) is one of the better crab sandwiches that I've had. The food isn't particularly amazing but worth checking out to experience if you're exploring the area.

Negatives

> Pretty long lines; even as of September 2020 there were a lot of people waiting in line around lunchtime. I would expect it to be a lot worse during normal times.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ Shrimp Cocktail -- A bit of a weird texture. Too soft for my taste, it doesn't have the springiness of typical shrimp. Additionally, the shrimp are really small and are served a bit watery.
  • ★★☆☆ Crab Sandwich -- One of the better crab sandwiches that I've had. The crab is in relatively large chunks and flavored well with the right amount of mayo, celery, and salt (I added a bit of lemon myself for extra acidity). They are VERY generous with the crab. The bread is a bit tough, but otherwise not bad.
