General Notes

This restaurant is an incredible little gem hidden away in the mountains near Monterey. I came here once for dinner, but I've heard great things about their brunch options and other dishes (like their paella!), and I would love to give them a try.

Positives

> The food is incredible! Precise, flavorful, and well-cooked.
> The environment is really nice and romantic.

Negatives

> The restaurant webpage looks god-awful. They really need a better web developer to fix that up. (EDIT: it seems to look a lot better now)
> The hours are a bit funky, and they close pretty early on most days.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★★★★ Salmon -- Incredibly tender
  • ★★★★ Braised Short Rib with Risotto -- Super tender, and the red-wine reduction goes really well with the risotto.
  • ★★☆☆ Artichoke -- Great sauces, but again I'm not a huge fan of artichoke leaves.
