General Notes
Came here for brunch with a party of 4 at 09:30 -- we put ourselves down for a reservation but to be honest they aren't very busy, it's easy to get a seat. Which is somewhat surprising since this is one of the better brunch places that I've been to lately -- huge portions, reasonably priced, and food is decent. I would be down to come back to try some of their other offerings (e.g. the panang short rib scramble) or to come back for dinner.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ steak egg and rice -- grilled thai-style marinaded ribeye steak, fried egg, special garlic fried rice, served with house salad and jaew sauce. The sauce is a little too strong for me, has too much fish sauce. The steak itself is decent, and the rice is excellent.
- ★★★☆ croffle and chicken -- croffle, thai-style marinaded fried chicken, fried egg, maple syrup, house cream cheese. Pretty yummy, the flavor and cook on the chicken is excellent, croffle is decent, all these things together are actually surprisingly yummy
- ★★☆☆ pandan toast -- brioche served on a cast iron pan with Thai style pandan custard sauce, mixed berry compote and maple syrup. Decent but somewhat un-noteworthy. Would love the toast to have a little more textural contrast rather than just pure soft.
