General Notes
Somewhat upscale Mexican restaurant in the Mission. Overall decent experience, okay food. Nothing super noteworthy about this place.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Pastel de Tres Leches -- sponge cake with three milks and strawberry. The flavor is excellent, the texture feels a touch off though
- ★★☆☆ Churros con Chocolate -- The churros are delicious, maybe a touch undercooked but otherwise amazing. The chocolate milk leaves a bit to be desired, I really wish it were more of a chocolate sauce.
- ★★☆☆ Salsa Fresca y Tostadas -- Salsa is good, the tostadas don't go that well just by themselves with salsa.
- ★★☆☆ Cochinita Pibil -- slow roasted, citrus and achiote marinaded pork shoulder, habanero pickled onions, black beans. Decent but not particularly noteworthy. The pork was a little more dry than I was expecting.
