General Notes

Raw Sugar Factory proclaims itself to be Southeast Asian inspired: "the nostalgia of the cane sugar processing plants of Southeast Asia inspires the dishes at Raw Sugar Factory". In reality, the brunch menu is pretty much just classic brunch items. Though they do apparently have a pop-up Thai menu for dinner. Overall, a decent but not great restaurant -- the food looks good but doesn't have the best execution.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Ocean Benedict -- Fresh crab meat & shrimp with sautéed garlic spinach, onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño Hollandaise. Requested with hash browns. The flavor was great (the veggies and Hollandaise go surprisingly well with the seafood), but the texture left a lot to be desired. Eggs and seafood were overcooked and muffin was soggy. Hash browns were nicely crispy but lacked the soft interior that I like.
