General Notes

This restaurant is gorgeous. The building is shaped like a donut. There's a lovely garden in the center, and the dining area encircles the garden. This gives every table a nice view of the garden while also giving a number of other nice qualities -- making the space feel more cozy, and also making it not too loud. One of my favorite designs for a restaurant in a long time.

The food itself is also amazing. All of the dishes that our server recommended to us were excellent. Would come back again to try some of their other offerings. Note that this restaurant is EXTREMELY popular and you should make a reservation as soon as possible, about a month in advance.

Dishes Tasted

• ★★★★ dessert -- we ordered a special dessert item, which was something like coconut ice cream, sticky rice, topped with crispy rice. Amazing combination!
• ★★★★ panang curry -- grilled shrimp, makrut lime leaf, galangal. Love the flavor of the curry, it's very lime-leaf forward. The grilled shrimp is cooked perfectly -- bouncy on the inside, lightly crispy on the outside
• ★★★☆ stir-fry -- morning glory, bok choy, bear's tooth, lion's mane, and oyster mushrooms. Stir-fried very well
• ★★★★ khao yum -- 17 ingredient mixed salad, tamarind dressing. This is amazing. They explain to you all the ingredients and mix it tableside for you. The highlight was the crispy rice
• ★★☆☆ tuna laab -- southern style, rice crisps. good but forgettable, I'd skip this
• ★★★★ grilled squid -- chili lime sauce. Very tender, cooked well
• ★★★☆ pork belly -- sweet chili garlic caramel
