General Notes
Probably one of the most well-known Vietnamese restaurants in the bay area, with several locations scattered throughout. I went to the San Jose location in the Little Saigon area. The food was pretty solid, it wasn't really exceptional in any way (I find it difficult for pho to be that exceptional), but it was good, great option for pho.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ combination spring rolls -- 2pc shrimp, 2pc pork sausage, 2pc grilled pork. It's not especially noteworthy, but very good spring rolls overall. I liked the sausage especially. Served with 3 different dipping sauces. I don't know what the other two were, but the first one was peanut sauce.
- ★★★☆ Combination Pho -- rice noodles have a decent texture although I'd prefer for it to be a little more chewy. There's a lot of beef and it's prepared pretty well -- tender and flavorful. The broth is okay, not especially noteeworthy.
