General Notes
A typical Vietnamese restaurant in Albany. Decent but not great food, friendly service, lovely environment (a lot of seating / space, and a lot of plants). The layout of the space almost reminds me a bit of an old-school Chinese buffet.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Pho (#1 special combo) -- Overall decent but not great. The broth is OK but a bit too bland for my taste; the noodles are OK but I would like a bit more chewiness to them. The portion of noodles is relatively generous and the cuts of beef are pretty good overall.
- ★★☆☆ Grilled Pork Spring Rolls -- Solid spring rolls, great sauce. Not the biggest fan of the spam/sausage-like grilled pork, but overall quite nice. A surprisingly large portion, given that it's labeled on the menu as 2 spring rolls.
