General Notes
Not really sure why this place is called an "Islamic" restaurant, since it has all the quintessential northern Chinese classics, including a lot of lamb. They had a lot of really enticing dishes, like the hot and spicy boiling fish, the whole lamb, etc, but since I came here myself I couldn't really order any of those. The food ended up being ... pretty disappointing. Would definitely be willing to come back and try some of their other offerings, though.
Dishes Tasted
- ★☆☆☆ 拌黄瓜 -- This dish is drowned in liquid, which madeit a little unappetizing, the cucumber wasn't as crisp as I would have liked either. Okay flavor though.
- ★☆☆☆ 红烧羊肉汤面 -- The soup was okay, the noodles were way overcooked and had no texture to them, and the lamb was okay. Could have definitely been a bit more tender but decent.
