General Notes

Upscale Japanese restaurant in the heart of the Mission. I was recommended this place and it did not disappoint. On the pricier side, but honestly not that expensive, especially when factoring in the quality of the food. Nice ambiance, fairly easy to get reservations for, and also right next to Garden Creamery to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Dishes Tasted

• ★★★★ Aburi Saba Oshi -- I cant find this on their online menu, but it's basically pressed sushi with mackerel. This is SO GOOD. I love the addition of a little bit of shiso. I will be dreaming about this dish.
• ★★★☆ Sashimi Tasting (10pc) -- I honestly don't remember exactly what fish it was ... but it was all very good!
• ★★★★ Sake Oyako Don -- salmon, salmon belly, ikura over rice, served with miso. So delicious, the salmon belly and ikura go crazy.
• ★★★☆ Agedashi Tofu -- fried egg tofu w/ umami sauce. well fried, excellent sauce!
• ★★☆☆ Assorted Tempura -- a little bit underfried for my taste, but overall pretty good.
• ★★★☆ Spicy Tuna Roll -- house blend spicy tuna, cucumber. A lot spicier than I expected, which is kind of refreshing since I feel like Japanese food doesn't tend to be very spicy.
