General Notes
Cantonese / dim-sum restaurant out in the outer sunset on Noriega. Food is pretty solid and SUPER cheap -- you can easily get a comfortable meal for yourself for ~$12, before tip / tax.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ mustard leaf (soup) -- in soup, not a big fan of it being in soup but surprised at how much other stuff it comes with (e.g. pork, ribs, century eggs)
- ★★★☆ pork rice roll -- with egg + bean sprout. I'm not sure if it's because it's freshly made or something else, but this tasted especially savory.
- ★★☆☆ rice roll with chicken ribs + ribs -- the rice rolls themselves lack much flavor, even with the soy sauce it's a little one-dimensional. But the texture is nice. And it's cool that you can get a steamed dish with a little bit of different kinds of meat for just $12.
- ★★★☆ beef meatball -- excellent texture; it's nice and soft and also has some nice crispy bits in the middle.
