General Notes

A solid sushi restaurant in downtown Berkeley. They sell good quality sushi at reasonable price points. I was pleasantly surprised by the sashimi combo, which was great quality sashimi (THICK cuts) and reasonably priced. The special rolls are on the more expensive side. Good food, friendly service; good choice for a typical sushi restaurant.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★☆☆☆ Lobster Roll -- crab meat, avocado, baked baby lobster, onion, spicy mayo, eel sauce, tobiko. The lobster was very overcooked so not my favorite, but still decent.
  • ★★☆☆ Soft Shell Crab
  • ★★★☆ Sashimi Combo -- 18pc for $35, actually a great deal considering that the sashimi pieces are THICK. The snapper had a weird texture, but everything else was delightful
  • ★★☆☆ Orange Blossom -- Tuna, avocado, salmon, tobiko
  • ★★★☆ Negihama -- Solid, you really can't go wrong with this.
