General Notes
Excellent restaurant for northeastern Chinese food. Looks like your standard Chinese restaurant but the food is so good. Take my word with a grain of salt though, I'm pretty biased towards this type of food. They also sell an assortment of cold meats like 红肠 or 熏鸭/熏鸡. Definitely try their 锅包肉 and 东北杀猪菜 (if you like blood sausage).
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ 干煸四季豆 -- a bit overcooked, decent but not particularly noteworthy
- ★★★★ 东北杀猪菜 -- blood sausage, 酸菜, pork belly, 冻豆腐, vermicelli. A bit too salty for my taste but overall delicious. This was my first time having Chinese style blood sausage and I loved it.
- ★★★★ 锅包肉 -- Fried perfectly. Super crispy and savory without being greasy. Has a lot of vinegar which balances out the dish perfectly.
