General Notes

One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to in a long time, at least in terms of food. That lobster roll is to die for. In addition to their standard menu items, they also have a special menu at the back on a blackboard, definitely take a peek at that to see if there's anything interesting there.

This restaurant is EXTREMELY popular and you must wait in line to get inside. Be prepared to wait 1h+. We got here at around opening on a Saturday and waited for 1-1.5 hours before we were seated. The restaurant is pretty small and it can feel a bit cramped inside. It's worth the wait though.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ oysters -- solid oysters, although not particularly noteworthy
  • ★★★★ lobster roll -- best lobster roll I've ever had -- generous with the portions, bread is good, and so so bouncy / tender / cooked perfectly
  • ★★★☆ bluefin 'coyne' crostini -- tuna tartare, iggy's baguette, bomba pistachio pesto. The pistachio pesto is so good.
  • ★★★☆ neptune johnnycake -- honey butter, boston smoked bluefish, sturgeon caviar. Sounds like a weird combination (it's sweet) but it's so good. Basically like a flat, crispy pancake that's soft on the inside.
