Far and away the best value sushi I've ever had. No other restaurant comes close. The quality of the sushi is insane, considering that they offer your classic 7pc nigiri 6pc maki combo for just $25. The quality of the seafood shines, especially in the ikura and uni, which had much more natural sweetness than any other ikura / uni I've had in the past. It can be a little bit challenging to get a reservation here (the restaurant itself is pretty small too), but it's well worth the effort.

> For the nigiri combo, you can choose the pieces you want! For my first visit, I chose hamachi, iwana (arctic char), kurodai (black snapper), hotate, toro, ikura, baja uni. The uni and ikura came with a small extra charge, but surprisingly the toro did not! For my second visit, I chose hamachi, iwana (arctic char), umi masu (ocean trout), kurodai (black snapper), hotate, toro, and ikura.
> My favorite pieces were the arctic char and uni! Uni is always amazing, but this one was especially buttery / luscious / sweet without any bitter or acrid aftertaste. The arctic char was so soft, savory, and I absolutely LOVE the sear on the outside -- the smoky flavor really brings everything together.
