General Notes

A matcha-focused cafe with locations all over; this review is for the San Diego Convoy location. This review is definitely biased because I'm sensitive to caffeine and can't really consume matcha in the evening hours. Their matcha offerings are solid but their other items are not where it's at.

  • ★★☆☆ Hojicha Latte -- solid flavor; I don't have too much recollection of this drink.
  • ★☆☆☆ Smores Honey Toast -- Pretty much just toast with some marshmallows and chocolate sauce drizzled on top. Overpriced and not very good. The toast by itself is too dry and needs a "sauce" of some kind -- a more pronounced honey drizzle, whipped cream, ice cream, something else.
