General Notes

Surprisingly, the first time I've been to Marugame udon was in Hawaii. But of course they have tons of locations scattered throughout the continental US too. Food is solid, I enjoyed the texture of the noodles, which was nice and slightly bouncy. Very reasonably priced too, and I like how you can also pick pieces of tempura to your liking.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★★★☆ Garlic Chicken Salad -- surprisingly good, I only had a few bites but I enjoyed it a lot. It has a flavor that's similar to the Asian salad at McDonalds.
  • ★★☆☆ Nikutama -- savory simmered beef, sweet onions, silky soft boiled egg. The broth is a little too sweet for my taste, but otherwise excellent.
