General Notes
This place has apparently been open since the 1970s, and it definitely gives off retro vibes, like the Google Maps description suggests. They serve up a variety of American breakfast / lunch classics like omelettes, pancakes, frittatas, sandwiches, and burgers. The food is not particularly noteworthy, but it's pretty solid overall. I came here after trying (and failing) to get a table walk-in to Brenda's Oakland across the street (definitely try to get a reservation for weekend brunch there), and was pleasantly surprised.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Crab Cake Benedict -- Egg perfectly cooked, crab cake was nice, and a generous portion of hollandaise. My only complaint is that the english muffin was a bit too hard, so much so that it was quite difficult to slice.
