Mamahuhu is a pretty odd Chinese / American fusion restaurant, offering dishes that are not quite Chinese American, but also feel pretty far away from a typical Chinese restaurant. They're probably most well known for their pineapple bun chicken sandwiches, which is what I got. I have mixed feelings about them. The chicken, sauce, and flavors itself are delicious -- I especially love how they fry their chicken, makes for a super crispy sandwich. I'm just not a fan of chicken sandwiches on pineapple buns -- it's pretty doughy and too soft, and also undertoasted. Overall, pretty unique and worth giving a try but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get these again in the future.
