General Notes

This is my favorite Sichuan, and probably favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Boston. The food is great, and I would definitely recommend for both small and larger parties.

Positives

> In general, the food is excellent. The food suits my personal preferences for Chinese food really well - Sichuan cuisine, along with BBQ options. The Mala Pot is awesome.

Negatives

> You can expect very long wait times, particularly during more popular times.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★★★★ Mala Pot -- Great flavor! You select the meats, vegetables, and spiciness. Despite the fact that everything is cooked together, everything comes out perfectly cooked. This is definitely the flagship of this restaurant.
  • ★★☆☆ 酸菜鱼
  • ★★★★ 羊肉串 -- Nice and juicy
  • ★★★☆ 水煮鱼片 -- Pretty decent, definitely better than average.
  • ★☆☆☆ 葱爆羊肉 -- The meat was chopped too thick and didn't really taste much like lamb.
