General Notes
Decent Italian restaurant in the heart of Mendocino. Relatively traditional with old-school vibes, with a very large and expansive menu. This place is VERY popular -- it's usually fully booked and the waitlist gets quite long. You'll definitely want to book far in advance for this one.
Negatives
> Bread was pretty meh, it had the texture of a not very good focaccia.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ tiramisu -- Their tiramisu is pretty excellent, definitely one of the better ones I've had.
- ★★☆☆ ribeye (special) -- one of their special ribeyes served with a olive oil, garlic, balsamic sauce; plus asparagus + potato wedges. The potato is meh, the asparagus is ok, the sauce is not a pleasant texture, but the ribeye was cooked pretty well.
- ★★★☆ cioppino -- quite tasty, good flavor on the broth, noodles are cooked well, and seafood is nice too.
- ★★☆☆ caprese -- exactly what you'd expect from a caprese, good but not particularly noteworthy. I'm not a big fan of how they use chopped basil instead of larger basil pieces
