General Notes
A well-known sandwich shop in the peninsula. They have two locations: one in Burlingame and one in South San Francisco. Apparently, according to the locals the SSF location is slightly better, but there isn't too much of a difference. The key differentiating factor is their garlic sauce, which really is a game-changer. All the other components like the bread, meats, etc are also solid. Come hungry, because these sandwiches are absolutely HUGE.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Lucca Dog -- hot dog, pastrami, bacon, cheese. This sounds like a bizarre combination, but it works surprisingly well. The garlic sauce and hot mustard are a game changer. I would have honestly liked a little less hot dog and a little more pastrami, but overall still a great sandwich. Got it with everything on a dutch cruch roll.
