General Notes

A cozy, intimate American restaurant located in Long Island City. The first thing that you'll probably notice is all the wine bottles in the wall - this location is definitely focused on their wine and beer bar. I obviously did not partake in this. But they also offer solid brunch/lunch and dinner options. I may have ordered the wrong item because I didn't quite get a positive impression of the food.

Positives

> The interior is cozy and intimate, without being too cramped. They also have outdoor seating available in the back.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Slow Roasted Duck Hash -- Served with diced potatoes, red onion, peppers, dried cherries, pine nuts, and two fried eggs. The flavors were nice - I liked the light roasted flavor of the duck, combined with the sweetness and light acidity of the cherries and onions. The eggs were also fried well. Unfortunately, the duck was a bit dry/stringy and the dish was overall a bit greasy. I also don't feel that the pine nuts added much to the dish.
