General Notes

A delightful French pastry in the middle of SoMa. If you're looking for great pastries and French bread, this is your place. Delicious food and nice modern vibes. They're most well-known for their classics like croissants and French bread. Definitely try their almond croissants!

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Pistachio -- Great quality pastry -- flaky and buttery. My primary complaint is that the pistachio flavor is a bit too subtle. You can't really taste the pistachio at all in the filling.
  • ★★☆☆ Quiche Chicken -- The pastry itself is nice, with a buttery, crumbly texture. The chicken pairs well with the quiche but the egg mixture was meh. It felt ... weirdly watery? Although I'm not sure how quiches are normally supposed to taste.
  • ★★★★ Almond & Chocolate Croissant -- One of my favorite pastry for good reason -- the texture is delightful and flavors are nuanced and delicious. Perfect balance between the almond filling, chocolate, and puff pastry.
  • ★★★☆ Parisian Choquette -- Sort of like a cream puff pastry, but with a bit much more eggs. It was a bit too eggy for my taste, but still great.
  • ★★☆☆ Ham & Cheese Croissant (mini) -- Great texture, love the crisp exterior. The taste is decent but is slightly flat. It could use a bit more ham, and maybe a bit more cheese as well.
