General Notes

Le Dix-Sept recently opened a new location in Potrero Hill. I was pretty excited for it since it's super close to my apartment. Unfortunately, the food was pretty disappointing. Pastries are overpriced and honestly not made that well. Maybe the ones at the original Mission location are better. At least the outdoor seating is pretty good (provided that you get there at a time when there's shade)

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Chagaccino -- chaga mushroom "cappuccino" with oat milk. Kind of a weird flavor, sort of similar to red bean. Not really my favorite but not bad, at least it doesn't have caffeine.
  • ★☆☆☆ Pear Brioche -- decent combination, but the brioche was quite stale.
  • ★☆☆☆ Almond Tart with Passion Fruit Creme -- I'm not a huge fan of this flavor combination, it wasn't really a tart, it almost like a bostock with some passion fruit creme
  • ★★☆☆ Canele -- Decent, not particularly noteworthy though
