General Notes

This is a pretty good ramen place if you enjoy lighter, less rich ramen. I personally prefer my ramen to be a bit richer with thicker noodles, but I can see why many people would enjoy this place.

Positives

> Nice, concise menu with cool small dishes for sharing.
> Food came out extremely quickly

Negatives

> The seating arrangement is a bit like bar-style seating. Not good for large parties.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Shoyu Ramen -- The toppings are great - relatively tender pork with good fat content (kukuni pork), well marinated/cooked egg, bean sprouts are well cooked, with green onion. The noodles are mediocre: a bit too thin and maybe a little undercooked (I'm generally not a fan of thin noodles). The broth has an interesting flavor - it has a combination of chicken and fish stock, which isn't particularly noteworthy, but the ramen also has a very strong sesame oil flavor, which gives it a lighter feel.
