As the Google Maps listing suggests, Kitava is a "health food restaurant"; a somewhat strange way to describe a restaurant but pretty accurate. They focus on all the buzzwords that you'd typically associate with a health food restaurant, like organic, free-range, and all that. I don't always have the best experience with these types of restaurants, but the food here was actually pretty delicious. The individual vegetable components are cooked really well (my favorites are the zaatar cauliflower and the brussel sprouts -- they were both fried / roasted really well!). Overall a great choice if you're feeling something lighter and need some vegetables in your life.
