General Notes

King Katsu Land serves up comically sized Korean-style katsu. Seriously, the king katsu is HUGE. the portions are very generous, the food is reasonably priced, and everything is fried really well -- tender, crispy, and without feeling greasy. Most of their items are served with rice, salad, macaroni salad, and a side of curry. You'll definitely be full coming out of here. It just opened recently (as of November 2025), and it's quite popular -- expect a wait during more popular times.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ cheese katsu -- a thin pork cutlet stuffed with cheese. Not my favorite, it's pretty popular and unique but I'd definitely prefer the others.
  • ★★★☆ King's Combo -- half size of king, fish katsu, and hamburger steak. My favorite was the fish katsu; fried super well and the tartar sauce is really good. The king katsu is also amazing and huge size, the hamburg steak is pretty solid.
