General Notes

Excellent restaurant at the rooftop of the Hyatt hotel by Oracle Park. When it first opened in 2022, it generated a ton of hype and it was practically impossible to get a reservation. Since then, the hype has died down and there's a lot more availability. Great option for something more upscale or a fancy occasion when the weather is nice. Good food, a lot of cool cocktails, and great ambiance. The one thing to note is that it is a bit on the louder side with the music (and especially when there's a sports game going on, there's a lot of people at the bar area) -- consider asking for one of the tables farther away from the bar if you're looking for a quieter experience.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ Kaiyo Roll -- canadian red crab, wild atlantic salmon, tempura asparagus, avocado, rocoto aioli, onion, jalapeno, garlic chili oil, crispy garlic. This tastes a little odd, mostly because of the addition of the asparagus. The rest of the components are nice though.
  • ★★☆☆ Japanese Crispy Shrimp -- japanese fried shrimp, nori panko, onion, rocoto aioli. Solid dish, I enjoyed the batter.
  • ★★☆☆ Nikomi Beef Empanadas -- beef empanada, aji panca, house-made dough, rocoto aioli. Decent, nothing super noteworthy though.
  • ★★★☆ Miso Butter Corn Ribs -- corn ribs, miso butter, chopped chives, togarashi. Excellent flavor, the savoriness from the miso butter is excellent.
  • ★★★★ Ceviche Clasico -- seasonal whitefish, house leche de tigre, smokey yam puree, seaweed, avocado, onion, fresno chili, choclo, cracked cancha, cilantro oil. Excellent -- fish is super fresh, flavors come together beautifully. I especially liked the smoky yam puree.
