General Notes

Upscale Chinese restaurant in Flushing. Seriously, this is probably the restaurant that most closely represents an upscale Chinese restaurant in China that I've been to. I ordered the roast duck, wich was not necessarily the best roast duck I've had, but still pretty solid (it's hard for roast duck to be bad, to be honest). They serve an interesting combination of various regional cuisines. I'd definitely be interested in returning and trying some of their other offerings.

Positives

> Their jasmine tea is FANTASTIC. It's possibly some of the best jasmine tea that I've had.
> The ambiance is lovely! It really does feel like I'm in an upscale restaurant in China.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ 北京烤鸭 -- I wouldn't say that this is necessarily the best 烤鸭 that I've had, but overall it's still pretty solid. My main complaint is that the meat is a bit over-rendered and I wish there were some more left to give it a more savory mouth feel.
